EPC’s for Houses and House Rental’s in across Derby and Derbyshire
Since 2007 it has been mandatory for any domestic property being sold or offered for let to have a valid Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) in place. We have issued thousands of such certificates.
Where a house is offered for sale it doesn’t matter what rating the property attracts on the Band A (good) to G scale. But, in the case of a house for let, that Energy Performance Certificate has to reach the level of A to E otherwise it cannot be let.
Where houses for let fall into Band F or G, we can advise on which cost-effective measures will raise the rating to the required level. Our experience is that often the smallest alteration can have a great effect and our recommendation is for people not to spend anything until they have first spoken with us.
