There is a legal requirement that buildings with in excess of 12 kilowatts of air conditioning installed be inspected every five years and a TM44 air conditioning certificate be issued.
This is where the total capacity of all systems on site exceeds 12kW, not simply an individual system so that could be three 5kW systems.
